My Bike: Yes,

Kms per week: 150 kms
This will be the fourth year I will am participating in the Red Sky Ride and am honoured have the opportunity to ride with the support of Hall & Wilcox.
To me, the ride is more than just a charity event, it the chance to belong to a group of incredible individuals. Through unconditional support, unity and inspiration the Red Sky Riders make a real difference in the community. I am proud to be part of this.
I am participating in the 10-year anniversary of the ride, to honour all those affected by cancer. My inspiration comes from my dad who died of cancer when i was 14 years of age. Also to the many still fighting, the families and friends, and the loved ones lost. By completing the ride, and raising awareness and funds for the SolarisCare Foundation I can ensure patients and families have access to high-quality resources and support services to assist with the emotional and physical effects of all cancers.
Whilst 1000 kilometres may seem impossible, many experiences in the ride remind you why you are doing it.
What we endure is nothing compared to the hardships faced by the many currently living with cancer.
Why I took up cycling:
Cycling is an easy way for me to maintain my health and fitness. It is also a great way make new connections and the perfect excuse for coffee.
